It’s almost four years since I started blogging. That time we used to blog from computers or laptops. Blogging from a smartphone was not that popular then. But today you will find an app almost for everything, so no surprise even the most popular blogging platforms jumped into the bandwagon. You will find every possible blogging platform from the most popular WordPress to Tumbler in Play Store. I was curious if it is really possible to start a blog from your phone. So I decided to try some of the apps for blogging and here is my Review of the WordPress App.
In recent times, due to worldwide lockdown, almost everyone realizes the need of going online and the huge role it can play in the coming years. Blogging not only helps to express yourself, but it also creates an online and offline brand for you, which then you can monetize to create a monetary source.
You will find many blogging apps, free and paid, on Google Play. So let’s start with the most popular blogging platform WordPress. Let’s have a quick look at it:

WordPress is a free open-source content management system and by far, the most popular CSS. It also has an app, which is available on Google Playstore. You can download it for free and create your own blog.
As for their app, WordPress says,” Inspiration can strike anytime, anywhere” and so they launched this app to create and control your site from anywhere just from your phone.
As we all know WordPress has also launched Gutenberg last year, so you will have a block editor by default in the WordPress app.
It is pretty easy to create a blog with the app, register with your Google account and you are ready to start a blog from your phone. WordPress app offers you a ton of themes to choose from, so you have the freedom to choose the look and feel of your website.
You can easily create posts and pages on your phone. The best part is not only you can create content on your site but it has many other inbuilt amazing features like visitor tracking, real-time happening on your blog, share your content with others, and so on.
On the downside, you will find numerous complaints from the users. Though it has 4.4-star ratings, users are complaining about different glitches. Many find new updates useless.
It’s very obvious that an app is not a good alternative to a laptop or computer. Particularly, creating posts or uploading high-resolution images can be a cumbersome task on a smartphone.
Creating a blog from a phone can be a very attractive concept but in reality, running an online business needs a robust platform like Wealthy Affiliate, which uses WordPress as a default CSS for creating websites.

Conclusion:
WordPress App has 10,000,000 downloads to date and has a good 4.4star rating of about 1,57,776 users. It may sound a good idea to create a blog or website directly from your phone but as I said before, it is not practical to build a thriving business from a phone. Creating a website is creating a foundation for your business, and it’s quite cumbersome to create long posts from the phone. If you check this app on Playstore you will find many complaints from the users.
There is no better CSS than WordPress for creating a website, but it’s better to create your blog from a laptop or a computer. It is more convenient and gives better UX. I doubt if one can continue to blog for a long time just using this WordPress App.
