Reckner Opinions is a survey site that offers different surveys in which you can participate and earn some extra bucks for you.  It is a bit different survey panel than others in a sense it offers offline and in-person surveys also.

It offers 4 types of surveys:

• In-person Surveys
• Focus Groups
• Home Use Test(HUT)
• Taste Test

In-person Surveys:

As I mentioned above, Reckner Opinions gives you the opportunity to take part in some offline surveys also.  In-person surveys is one of them.  It is more of an in-depth survey and is conducted in one of their research locations.

In-person surveys can also be taken over the phone and it is much like an interview over the phone.

Focus Group:

The Focus group can be of a 8 or 10 people.  It is like a round table conference and everyone needs to share their opinions about a specific topic of interest.   It is led by a trained moderator who looks over the conversation.

As it is clear that you need to travel to the location of this conference, it is viable to participate only if you live nearby.

Home Use Test(HUT):

HUT is more of a product testing survey.  You need to use the specific product for a said amount of time or days.  You also need to give your opinions and recommendations through paper questionaries, a follow-up phone call, or accessing surveys through the internet.

It is better to follow their FB page, as they posted many of these surveys on their FB page.  For example, recently they had posted a HUT survey, and those that qualify and participate in the usage test will receive $250.

Taste Test:

What could be more interesting than this?  You are invited to participate and tell about the test of the food or different recipes.

Some times you only have to answer about only one product or sometimes there are many recipes or food varieties that you need to answer.

Is Reckner Opinions A Scam?

Reckner Opinions is not a scam, but it has very limited earning potential.  Surveys are not meant to make you big bucks, but at least it should pay you a decent amount of money.

I would not recommend Reckner Opinions, just because you will find many better opportunities to earn a decent income online.

The time you invest (or waste??) per survey can be utilized in a much better way.  Think about the possibilities like creating a Youtube video or writing a blog, which can earn you money for many years.  And if you want to learn all these Internet things, Wealthy Affiliate is the platform you should try out.  It is free to join and offers two free websites+hosting+ training.
