If you love to travel, then selling travel membership should be easy for you.  Everyone wants to “Work Less And Travel More”  But can you make money selling WorldVentures product i.e. it’s travel membership, let’s find out in this WorldVentures MLM Review.

What is WorldVentures MLM?

WorldVentures is a MLM company, which sells travel membership and has different membership plans. WorldVentures was founded in 2005 and it is headquartered in Texas.

It has spread across 40 countries and has 500,000 members and 1,20,000 global representatives.  But it seems lately it has been facing many issues and its revenue has fallen down from $693 to $381 as of 2017.

Are WorldVenture Products Worth Their Price?

WorldVentures’ main product is their travel packages, and they sell these packages through different membership packages.  The higher the membership, the more the points you get to spend on your trip.

But unfortunately, the points you earn on these travel packages can be redeemed only after your anniversary date with WorldVentures.

So you have to be a member of WorldVentures for a full year to redeem your points, to make things worse you have to pay a monthly fee to retain your membership if you enter their business opportunity.

The WorldVentures MLM Opportunity

WorldVentures business opportunity or to become an “Independent Representative” you need to sponsored by an existing member.

Once you join WorldVentures, your job is to sell travel membership to your family and friends.  There are three memberships:

  • Dreamtrips
  • Dreamtrips-Gold
  • Dreamtrips-Platinum

Your points depend on the membership you sell and these points can be used for commissions and on the travel trips.

Unfortunately, you find many complaints about not getting the commission.

How Much Does It Cost to Join WorldVentures?

As I mentioned above, WorldVentures have different memberships and you need to pay accordingly.

Dreamtrips: It will cost you $99.99 and a monthly fee of $24.99.  You will receive 100 points for registration and 300 points, that can be used for travel packages annually.

Dreamtrips-Platinum: It will cost you $399.99 and a monthly fee of $99.99.  You will receive 300 points for registration and 1,200 points, that can be used for travel packages annually.

You will also receive back office, training, and tools and a website through which you can promote your business. Just remember, you have to additionally pay all these things like training and so on.

Can You Make Money with WorldVentures?

You can earn money with WorldVentures in two ways:

  • By selling travel memberships
  • By recruiting other people

To become a qualified representative, you need to recruit 4 people in a given month.  Once you are able to recruit 4 people in your team, you and your team will receive weekly team bonuses based on the number of sales.

Unfortunately, you will find many complaints about WorldVentures and how they do not pay to its representatives.

So it’s very clear that no one is making money with WorldVentures, and 99% of its members are losing their money.

WorldVentures is making hyped claims about its representative’s claims, so no need to take it seriously.  Only one thing that you should take seriously about WorldVentures is its own disclaimer on its site:

worldventures review_warning

WorldVenture itself warns its potential representatives to perform their own due diligence!

Pros:

Nice Concept:

WorldVentures actually has this beautiful concept of selling travel membership and giving its members points that can be used during their travels.

Cons:

Exorbitant membership fee:

WorldVentures have membership fee + monthly fees that make it very expensive compare to their counterparts.  What makes it worse is innumerable complaints from its own representatives for non-payment of their commission.

BBB Alert:

Apart from many complaints, BBB also has a warning against WorldVentures for misleading information about their product to consumers prior to purchase.

Points get exhausted:

Points you earn, get exhausted, and not roll on. If you don’t use your points by the end of the year, you actually lose your points!

Misrepresentation

In 2017, WorldVentures was sued in a class-action lawsuit for misleading and misrepresenting the amount of money a representative could earn. This lawsuit also claims that WorldVentures is not only an MLM but is also a pyramid scheme. They were banned from operating in Norway for this reason.

Is WorldVentures a Scam?

WorldVentures is an MLM company and it is definitely not a Scam.  But the MLM module is such that, unless you make a sale you are not going to earn a dime.

But you must not overlook the complaints all over the Internet and on the BBB.  Not only for their own representatives but also for their customers, they are creating all types of problems.  Customers are complaining about not getting a refund if they cancel a trip.

Secondly, MLM sturcture is such that mostly depend upon the network, your success is dependent on your team members, who joined under you.  Unless they are active and making sales, your earning potential is limited.

It is a proven fact that it’s very hard to earn with MLM, only a few at the top strata earns a substantial income.

  1. A lot of the information in this article is inaccurate! If you’re going to report information on a company please be factual and provide accurate information. Any MLM/Direct Selling company requires one to work hard, be a self-starter and not expect to get wealthy fast! Individual representatives may not have behaved in a professional manner however the company does not support this behavior. To put down another company in an effort to promote affiliate marketing is like the pot calling the kettle black. Affiliate marketing does not work for everyone as well. No matter what industry you decide to start a business, whether traditional or entrepreneurial, please understand it takes perseverance, hard work, and a determination to succeed! It’s not the company’s fault if you’re lazy and did not give your all for your success!

    • Hello Yolando,
Pl provide me the “factual and accurate information” about WorldVentures, so that I update my review. I have done my research and according to me, all the information is correct.
I totally agree with you that any business, be it MLM or affiliate marketing needs consistency and preservance, but you should agree with me on MLM offers poor returns on investment. 99% of people lose their money in MLMs.
There is no comparison between MLM and Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate Marketing is far superior to MLM, MLM is one of the riskiest module and hence it’s not advisable to anyone.
      Regards
