What Is Testable Minds All About?

Testable Minds is a platform used by researchers from the world’s leading universities to recruit participants for their psychological and behavioral experiments.

It is said on their website that Testable Minds is a group of people who are genuinely interested in helping science.

Here is example studies look like:

You will see the subject of the study as well as what you need to do in the description.  It also shows approximately how much time it will take to complete the study.    It also mentions the remuneration you suppose to get and the required participants.

Like in the first study it needs 50 participants, in the second study 20 participants and in third it required 100 participants.

Once the required participants are enrolled, you will not be able to join the study.  Also, you get paid more if you are a verified minds and you can see that some studies are specially reserved for verified minds.

There are other benefits of being Verified Mind, such as the minimum threshold for withdrawing money lowers to $10 from $20, for the first withdrawal.  Not only that, but there will also be no minimum threshold for your next withdrawal.

To become a verified user, you will have to submit your photo, ID document, and phone number. Your ID document can be a photo of your driver’s license, Passport, or any other identification that has your name, photo, and date of birth. But it’s a premium service, which means to join as a Verified Minds, you need to pay to Testable Minds.

There are two ways through which you can make money with Testable Minds:

1. Paid Studies & 2. Refer a Friend.

Paid Studies:

If you want to attempt surveys, the first thing you want to keep in mind, that you might not qualify for every survey you attempt.

You may not qualify for a survey if your demographic like country is not matched with the requirement for studies.  It also considers your gender, age, hobbies, and other things on which you get selected.  So it is crucial to fill in the profile surveys, honestly and in detail.

If you try to fill the wrong information, you will be immediately get screened out.

You will be notified with an email whenever the study is available, so no need to log in and out just to see available studies.

To get more invites, fill the profile in as much detail as possible, your profile is the base on which you will get all the future surveys.  You need to fill in all the information regarding yourself, your family, education, hobbies and so on.

Refer a Friend:

Testable Minds has a refer a friend program, where you can share your referral link with others, and when anyone joins through your link, you get $1 per referral.

One thing you must remember that you will get this one dollar, only on his first withdrawal. The minimum threshold is $20, and if you are a Verified Mind it is $10 for first withdrawal.

How Do You Get Paid?

Verified Minds gives you many options to withdraw your money, but their preferred way is Revolut.  Not to forget that they are affiliated with Revolut and they get commission per new sign in.

How Much Money Can You Make?

The amount of money you can make depends on you.  The more time you spend on the Testable Minds, the more money you make.  The more Studies you complete, the more money you can withdraw.

But not to forget your earnings will depend on the invites you get and according to your demographics.  If you live in a country where more studies are held, you have a great opportunity to make money through these studies.

Also, not to forget Verified Minds is a Premium service, and you need to additionally pay for it.

Even its referral program, is not too good, it requires your referral to withdraw his earnings first, then you will get your commission.  In short, when your referral earns and withdraws $20, you will earn $1.  I don’t think it’s very viable.

You can’t say whether your referral will get the required invites and if you are unverified, you will get fewer invites + less pay.  So it will take some time before you get your commission.

So I don’t think you will have enough opportunities to earn on Testable Minds.

Who can join Testable Minds?

Testable Minds is available globally, and anyone can join it.  Anyone of the age of 13 can join the site, but to withdraw your income to PayPal, you need to have 18 years old.  Paypal has the age limit of 18 years, below 18 years cannot have a Paypal account.

I’ve spent some time digging through all the layers to get into the heart of the system and discover if it’s just another scam or there is a possibility that this system works.

Is Testable Minds A Scam?

Testable Minds is not a scam, but it has very limited earning potential.  Surveys are not meant to make you big bucks, but at least it should pay you a decent amount of money.

I would not recommend Testable Minds, just because you will find many better opportunities to earn a decent income online.

The time you invest (or waste??) per survey can be utilized in a much better way.  Think about the possibilities like creating a Youtube video or writing a blog, which can earn you money for many years.  And if you want to learn all these Internet things, Wealthy Affiliate is the platform you should try out.  It is free to join and offers two free websites+hosting+ training.
