It’s almost four years since I started blogging.  That time we used to blog from computers or laptops.  Blogging from a smartphone was not that popular then.  But today you will find an app almost for everything, so no surprise even the most popular blogging platforms jumped into the bandwagon.  You will find every possible blogging platform from the most popular WordPress to Tumbler in Play Store.  I was curious if it is really possible to start a blog on your phone.  So I decided to try some of the apps for blogging and here is my Review of the Learn Digital Marketing & Blogging (LDMB) App.

In recent times, due to worldwide lockdown, almost everyone realizes the need of going online and the huge role it can play in the coming years.  Blogging not only helps to express yourself, but it also creates an online and offline brand for you, which then you can monetize and create a monetary source.

First of all, it’s important to note that it’s really a tedious task to create a fully functional website on your phone.  Website apps are helpful to create drafts, edit existing posts on the go. Next, these apps are useful for those people who don’t have access to computers or laptops but still want to express their creativity through blogs.

What Is Learn Digital Marketing & Blogging App All About?

Learn Digital Marketing & Blogging is an app, which is available on Google Playstore.  It is available only for Android users. LDMB gives you information about internet marketing and blogging.  It has covered many important topics under the categories Blog, SEO, Digital Marketing, and also it has provided some case studies.  It is a good app to know the basics of internet marketing.

On the downside, there are many drawbacks, like it does not provide any blogging platform even a free one like WordPress or Blogger to help you practice the skills of blogging.  It has some good information but it is scattered all over.  It’s not organized properly.  For example, when you open the app, clicking the Blog, you will find articles in random order and not in an organized manner.  The first article you will find under Blog is “9 Best Lifetime Free Hosting Sites”, next “5 Types of Google Penalties”.  So there is no order placing the articles.  There is no information on what is a blog and how to start a blog.

If you visit the website of the app, it does not leave a good impression.  The app which claims to be teaching digital marketing and blogging does not have a single article under the blog section.  Learn Digital Marketing and Blogging, does not have Facebook and Twitter account.  So how they are going to teach you about social media? So for mere information’s sake, you can go through the app and you will find some good tips but I would not recommend it.

Conclusion:

Learn Digital Marketing & Blogging has 50,000 downloads to date and has a 4-star rating of about 174 users. LDMB has some good information about internet marketing, SEO, and blogging.  But to hone your skills of blogging or internet marketing, you need to have a live blog or website.  Without a website, it is impossible to improve your skills.

Other than this, it has scattered information in the blog, it should be arranged in an organized manner, to give a better UX to the readers.  The app is not for beginners, if you are already familiar with the terms of SEO and the internet marketing, you can grab some good tips.
