As it’s clear from its name ReviewSide is a site that offers an opportunity where you can turn your opinions into money.
In short, you get paid to write reviews for top-notch platforms like Google, Trustpilot, Yelp, Facebook, different App reviews Angie’s list, and many other e-commerce sites.
According to their website, you get paid between $1-5 per review.
We all know that before buying any product or service, we search the internet for its reviews or public opinion.
If a product or service has more positive reviews, we tend to think that it must be a good product and therefore do not hesitate to buy the product on the basis of the number of positive reviews it has.
ReviewSide is the website that offers you an opportunity to write reviews for these platforms and earn a handsome payout in return.
There is no doubt that there are many companies that provide reviews for some incentive but they provide legal ways.
ReviewSide asks you to write fake reviews for many established platforms like Google, Yelp, and other e-commerce sites, which is a legal crime according to their terms and conditions.
But should you indulge in these fake review systems and what are the red flags about this particular site? Let’s discuss this in detail.
Red Flags Not to Overlook:
ReviewSide offers you an earning opportunity where you can review on different platforms like Google and other big e-commerce sites.
But it is not legal and you will be banned from Google and other platforms if you get caught. Google and other platforms very clearly mentioned in their terms and conditions that it’s illegal to post a fake review on their site.
Secondly, ReviewSide is a very new site and just launched last April, yet to complete a year.
In such a condition where it has no previous experience dealing with reviews and how to manage it, it’s quite risky.
Another red flag about ReviewSide is that it’s not transparent and giving wrong and false information to its users on purpose.
You can see in the above screenshot that the domain was purchased in the year 2020 but its About page tells some other story.
It says that it launched in 2019, so a total white lie.
Review Quality:
Now you can easily imagine how ReviewSide generates reviews for its client from the following screenshot.
Since it itself is a review site which generates reviews for other platforms, should be able to generate some good reviews for its own site, isn’t it?
Now take a look at the testimonials you find on ReviewSide.
You will find only two testimonials on their site. The worst part is both the testimonials are fake and made up.
If you do a quick Google Image search you will find the same images on many other sites.
Vague on referral commission:
ReviewSide has a referral program where you can spread the word about this website you will get 5 points per referral.
But there is no information on their site about how their conversion works and much do you get paid for 5 points. In fact, ReviewSide directly pays through PayPal and there is no reason they should pay you in points. So it’s a big red flag for me.
No Payment Proof:
ReviewSide provides no payment proofs on their site, though it claims that it has paid almost $21947 till now.
All this data is very suspicious, a website that just launched a few months ago can pay $21947 to its users, which is just next to impossible.
It also mentions that a member has earned $427 just by writing fake reviews for this site. But then they should provide any legit proof for this transaction. In most of the legit PTC and GPT sites, you will find a dedicated area where they regularly post their withdrawals.
How Do You Get Paid?
ReviewSide gives you only options to withdraw your money through PayPal.
The minimum payout to withdraw your money is $5.
How Much Money Can You Make?
ReviewSide offers you $1-5, per review and it’s a very lucrative offer compared to the work involved.
You just need to type a few lines and in some cases, I found that you just need to copy and paste the pre-written review.
Though it sounds very tempting offer, I would not recommend joining this site. First of all, it’s very illegal according to the terms and conditions of big e-commerce sites and Google.
Next, they have not provided any payment proof and considering it’s a totally new site, I don’t think you should join this site.
Who can join ReviewSide?
Reviewside is available globally, and anyone can join it. Anyone of the age of 13 can join the site, but to withdraw your income to PayPal, you need to have 18 years old. Paypal has an age limit of 18 years, below 18 years cannot have a Paypal account.
I’ve spent some time digging through all the layers to get into the heart of the system and discover if it’s just another scam or there is a possibility that this system works.

ReviewSide is not a scam, but it’s a very vague and suspicious site how they pay their members.
I would not recommend ReviewSide, just because you will find many better opportunities to write honest reviews and earn some extra bucks online.
