Today’s kids are facing many critical issues that are harmful to their overall growth. Many socio-economic changes today, has created numerous challenges to growing children. Especially when they needed to be protected and feel secure, daily face the situations of which is harmful at a tender age.
Today the ratio of single parents is growing and the struggle of the single parents affects the kids deeply. Social media playing havoc with the young generation and they are exposed to unwanted things at a very early age, as a result, they grow up too early. these kids are losing their childhood.
this overexposure to social media platforms like Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter also leads to criminal and violent behavior in the youth.
At the same time, news feeds are full of criminal, violent, and unhealthy happenings in the world. Violent acts of school shoots, create an atmosphere of fear in their mind which can have a deep impact on their mind.
No one can deny the impact of movies on young people and in most cases, smoking and drinking have shown as a heroic act, which subtly impacts the mind of today’s youth and becomes addictive to these things.
Shockingly, the schools, and colleges turning into the centers of anti-social activities. People with wasted interests tap these young innocent kids and indulge them in criminal activities.
Today’s educational system is also not helping them much. Instead of memorizing everything, it is important that we should give them knowledge-based training. If the training is not going to help them to make their future better, it is just a waste of money and time.
The education system today only creating a generation of young kids who only have theoretical knowledge and do not develop basic skills like communication. Kids and young people’s only aim is to get a maximum percentage so that they can have a good job and secure d future with 9 to 5 jobs.
Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba has interesting thoughts on the education system.
I told my son: you don’t need to be in the top three in your class, being in the middle is fine, so long as your grades aren’t too bad. Only this kind of person [a middle-of-the-road student] has enough free time to learn other skills.
This quote is especially important if we take into account China’s or that matter any of the country’s educational system.
Anyone who wants to go into a good college needs to study hard and score high on the Gaokao exam. Any outside activity is a waste of time and irrelevant in terms of college admission. So obviously, youthfully focus on getting good marks and pay no attention to sports, communication and other skills which are important for an all-round personality.
Jack Ma’s opinion about the education system obviously going to be different than the conventional one, as he has risen above all the negativities and adversities. He applied ten times to Harvard Business School (HBS) and got rejected, and still today he is one of China’s richest men, with a net worth of $35.6 billion, as well as one of the wealthiest people in the world and also was ranked 21st in Forbes’ World’s Most Powerful People.

It is the faulty education system, all over the world, which is creating robots, who have nothing to do with creativity, who has trained just to complete their syllabus with highest possible percentage to get admission in good college or good industries for a job.
In India, the pressure and stress on the young students are so high, that even after getting 95% and above, they are not able to get admission in their preferred college. One can imagine the frustration of these young people.
